Do not enter, upload or store any real personal data — not your own, and not anyone else's. The Demo Environment uses shared, passwordless demo accounts: anyone who has (or guesses) a demo link can see and change what you enter. Demo data is periodically wiped without notice and is not backed up. Use fictional information only.
These Terms of Use (the "Demo Terms") govern your access to and use of the Frame Foundry demonstration environment available at framefoundry.space and any of its subdomains (the "Demo Environment"). By accessing or using the Demo Environment you agree to be bound by these Demo Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Demo Environment.
The Demo Environment exists so that prospective customers can explore what the Frame Foundry platform looks and feels like before deciding whether to use the live service. It is not the live service. The live Frame Foundry platform at framefoundry.ai (the "Production Service") is governed by its own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and runs on entirely separate infrastructure with a separate database — nothing you do in the Demo Environment touches the Production Service.
1. Who we are
The Demo Environment and the Frame Foundry platform are operated by Frame Foundry Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [●]) with its registered office at [registered office address] ("Frame Foundry", "we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at hello@framefoundry.co.
2. Purpose of the Demo Environment
2.1 The Demo Environment is provided free of charge, solely for demonstration and evaluation. It lets you click around a sample member portal and admin console, populated with fictional example content, so you can evaluate whether Frame Foundry is right for your organisation.
2.2 The Demo Environment must not be used:
- to run any live, operational or commercial activity (real bookings, real memberships, real sales, real member communications);
- as a system of record — nothing entered into it should be the only copy of anything you care about;
- to store, process or transmit any real personal data, confidential information or production data (see section 4).
2.3 Where we have set up a dedicated demo workspace for your organisation on its own subdomain, these Demo Terms apply to that workspace in addition to anything agreed in writing between us.
3. Shared access — nothing you enter is private
3.1 To make the demo frictionless, the Demo Environment has no login screen on demo workspaces. Visiting a demo subdomain automatically signs the visitor into that workspace's shared demo accounts (a demo member account, and a demo admin account for admin pages). This means:
- anyone who has the link to a demo workspace can access it, in both member and admin views;
- every visitor to the same workspace uses the same shared accounts — there is no per-visitor separation;
- anything you type, upload or change in a demo workspace can be seen, edited or deleted by any other visitor to that workspace;
- moving between demo subdomains automatically signs you into each workspace's own demo accounts.
3.2 You must therefore treat everything you enter into the Demo Environment as public. Do not enter anything you would not be comfortable with a stranger reading or changing.
3.3 You must not share a demo workspace link beyond the people in your organisation who are evaluating the platform, and you must not access a demo workspace whose link was not provided to you (or made publicly available) by us.
4. No personal, confidential or real data
4.1 This is the most important rule of the Demo Environment. Because access is shared and data is wiped without notice (sections 3 and 5), the Demo Environment is not designed, secured or intended to hold real data of any kind. You must not enter, upload, store or transmit into the Demo Environment:
- personal data relating to any identifiable living person — including names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, photographs of real people, or anything else that identifies a real individual (whether that person is you, a colleague, a member of your organisation, a customer, or anyone else). Use obviously fictional people (e.g. "Alex Example, alex@example.com") instead;
- special category or sensitive data of any kind (for example health information, or data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, sex life or sexual orientation), or any data relating to children;
- real payment card numbers or bank details — payment flows, where enabled at all, run in Stripe's test mode and accept only Stripe's published test card numbers (e.g. 4242 4242 4242 4242);
- confidential or proprietary information — yours or anyone else's — including trade secrets, commercially sensitive documents, credentials, API keys or access tokens (other than Stripe test-mode keys you choose to add to demonstrate checkout);
- any data you are under a legal, regulatory or contractual obligation to protect (for example data covered by a confidentiality agreement or professional duty);
- any real production data exported from another system.
4.2 We do not agree to act as a processor of personal data in the Demo Environment. No data processing agreement exists or is implied in relation to the Demo Environment, and it must not be used in any way that would require one. Entering personal data into the Demo Environment is a breach of these Demo Terms.
4.3 If personal data is entered into the Demo Environment despite this section — by you or by someone you shared a link with — you must tell us promptly at hello@framefoundry.co so we can delete it. We may delete any such data (or the whole workspace containing it) immediately and without notice, and section 5 (resets and wipes) will in any event remove it in the ordinary course.
4.4 We may remove any content from the Demo Environment at any time, for any reason, without notice.
5. Data resets, deletion and no backups
5.1 The public showcase workspace (demo.framefoundry.space) is automatically wiped and re-seeded with fresh sample data every night (at approximately 04:00 UTC). Anything you enter there will be gone by the next day.
5.2 Workspaces we stage for specific prospective customers persist between visits by default, but we may reset, re-stage, repurpose or permanently delete any demo workspace at any time, for any reason, without notice — including when a demo or evaluation has concluded.
5.3 Demo workspaces you create yourself through our self-service demo signup expire and are automatically deleted a few working days after creation (the current period is shown at signup). Ask us if you need longer — we can extend or re-stage a demo on request.
5.4 The Demo Environment is not backed up. Deleted or reset demo data cannot be recovered, and we have no obligation to preserve, export or return anything entered into the Demo Environment.
5.5 If during your evaluation you produce configuration (branding, plans, example events and so on) that you would like carried into a live workspace on the Production Service, ask us — we may be able to re-create it there, but we do not promise that anything in the Demo Environment can or will be migrated.
6. Demo limitations — payments, emails and sample data
6.1 No real payments. Payment features are either disabled or connected to Stripe in test mode only. No real money can or should be taken through the Demo Environment. Do not enter real card details (see section 4.1).
6.2 Email is limited to you. The Demo Environment may send emails about your own demo (for example a welcome or setup email) to the address you registered with us. Member-facing email features — booking confirmations, campaigns, reminders and the like — do not send real emails: the fictional people in demo workspaces have synthetic addresses that are never emailed, and you should not expect email features to behave as they do in production.
6.3 Sample data is fictional. The people, organisations, events, prices, products and other content seeded into demo workspaces are invented for illustration. Any resemblance to real people or organisations is coincidental. Nothing in the Demo Environment is an offer capable of acceptance, and no prices shown are real prices.
6.4 Features may differ. The Demo Environment may run newer, older or differently configured software than the Production Service. Features may be incomplete, disabled or behave differently, and nothing in the Demo Environment is a representation about what the Production Service includes. Your use of the Production Service, if you become a customer, is governed solely by the Production Terms & Conditions and any order or agreement we enter into with your organisation.
7. Acceptable use
7.1 You must not, in relation to the Demo Environment:
- attempt to gain access to the super-admin console, to another organisation's demo workspace whose link you were not given, or to any account, system or data you are not authorised to access;
- carry out penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, load testing or any other security testing without our prior written consent;
- introduce malware or any other harmful code or material;
- upload or enter content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, discriminatory or infringing of anyone's rights — remember that other visitors to the same workspace will see what you enter;
- scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract content from the Demo Environment;
- interfere with or disrupt the Demo Environment or attempt to circumvent any of its restrictions (including its nightly reset);
- use the Demo Environment to send communications of any kind to third parties;
- copy, reproduce or reverse engineer the platform except as permitted by law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
7.2 We may suspend or withdraw your access (including by deleting a workspace or blocking traffic) immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe this section has been breached.
8. Intellectual property and feedback
8.1 The Frame Foundry platform, the Demo Environment and all software, designs, text, graphics and other content we make available in them (other than content you enter) are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Demo Environment for internal evaluation only. No other rights are granted.
8.2 "Frame Foundry", "Frame Foundry" and associated logos are our trade names and marks. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
8.3 If you give us feedback, suggestions or ideas about the platform, you agree that we may use them without restriction or obligation to you. (This does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property.)
9. No warranty; availability
9.1 The Demo Environment is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", for evaluation only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties and representations in relation to it, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, availability, security or fitness for any particular purpose.
9.2 We may modify, suspend, restrict or permanently withdraw the Demo Environment (in whole or in part, including any workspace) at any time without notice, and we have no obligation to keep it available, updated or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
10.1 Nothing in these Demo Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
10.2 Subject to section 10.1, and reflecting that the Demo Environment is provided free of charge for evaluation only:
- we shall have no liability for any loss or corruption of data entered into the Demo Environment (including data removed by resets, re-staging, deletion or the acts of other visitors);
- we shall have no liability for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss, in each case arising out of or in connection with the Demo Environment;
- our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Demo Environment, however arising (whether in contract, tort — including negligence — breach of statutory duty or otherwise), shall not exceed one hundred pounds sterling (£100).
10.3 If you use the Demo Environment as a consumer, nothing in these Demo Terms affects your statutory rights.
11. Your responsibility for misuse
11.1 If you use the Demo Environment in the course of a business, you will indemnify us against all losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) we incur arising out of or in connection with: (a) personal data, confidential information or other prohibited material that you (or anyone using a link you shared) entered into the Demo Environment in breach of section 4; (b) content you enter that infringes any third party's rights or any law; or (c) your breach of section 7 (acceptable use).
12. Privacy notice for the Demo Environment
This section explains what limited personal data we actually process when you use the Demo Environment, and is provided under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Frame Foundry (section 1) is the controller of this data. Because the Demo Environment must not contain real personal data (section 4), the personal data we process about visitors is deliberately minimal:

12.1 Sharing. Log and infrastructure data is processed by our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) on our behalf. Where hosting infrastructure involves transfers outside the UK (for example to the United States), those transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or adequacy regulations. We do not sell personal data, and the Demo Environment contains no third-party advertising or analytics.
12.2 Your rights. You have the rights given by the UK GDPR — including to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to data portability. To exercise them, contact hello@framefoundry.co. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first.
12.3 The Production Service processes personal data very differently (it is a live system with real accounts). That processing is described in the Frame Foundry Privacy Policy, not this notice.
13. Changes to these Demo Terms
We may update these Demo Terms at any time by posting the updated version at this address with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Demo Environment after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Demo Terms. Given the nature of the Demo Environment we do not undertake to notify you of changes individually.
14. General
14.1 These Demo Terms (together with any written agreement between us covering your evaluation) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Demo Environment, and supersede any prior understanding relating to it.
14.2 If any provision of these Demo Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
14.3 A failure by us to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
14.4 You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Demo Terms. We may assign ours to a successor of our business.
14.5 No one other than you and us has any rights under these Demo Terms (Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999).
14.6 These Demo Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Demo Environment (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you use the Demo Environment as a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in, and rely on the mandatory consumer protections of, your home nation.
